What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.
Faith and fear do the same thing. Whatever is it that you have faith in, will become your reality over time. In the same manner that faith brings the object of its attention into reality, that’s the same way that fear brings whatever is the focus of its attention into reality.
The quote for this article is from a man in the Bible named Job. He said, “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.” Why has what Job feared the most happened to him? It’s because whatever is revered or feared will definitely manifest. This is the law of the universe.
In this article, I want to make it clear to you that fear is your enemy. It adds no benefit in anyway whatsoever to you. Anything you fear will manifest.
I have written a lot of articles on this site which are long but this article won’t be one of those. The title of this article is simply “fear not” and in keeping to the simple theme of the article, I will simply give you the reasons why you should never fear.
Why You Should Never Fear
(1) Fear Creates Obstacles.
(2) Fear Focuses Your Attention On What Could Go Wrong.
(3) Fear Keeps You In The Past.
(4) Fear Creates Monsters And Bring Them Into Reality.
There are more reasons why you should never entertain fear but let’s look at the four reasons stated above.
Whenever you are about to do anything you don’t usually do often or something you’ve never done before, fear comes into action. That energy of fear is not there to let us know how good and amazing we are. It’s there to give us reasons why we shouldn’t attempt to do whatever is it we want to do.
Fear creates obstacles when there is none. For example, a man sees a woman who he’s attracted to. Immediately he entertains the thought of approaching her and introducing himself, fear jumps in.
The fear that comes upon the man will immediately give him 10 “good” reasons why approaching the woman is a bad idea and the strange thing is that although these ten reasons are logical, there were entirely manufactured by the man’s fear. This is literally nothing stopping the man from approaching the woman and introducing himself.
(2) Fear Focuses Your Attention On What Could Go Wrong
It doesn’t matter what is it you want to do, immediately you entertain fear in your mind, your attention immediately goes to what could go wrong instead of what could go right.
Fear is a negative energy and as such, it is attracted to other negative energies. Because of this, whenever you are about to do anything and you allow fear in your mind, your mind will immediately start flashing the possibilities of negative outcomes.
(3) Fear Keeps You In The Past
Do you know that when you are about to do something and you are afraid, the most likely reason for that fear is because of your past experiences? For example; if you have failed with all your previous business startups, naturally; if you’re starting a new one now, you will be fearful, which is fine and normal but at the same time, that fear is keeping you in the past.
We, humans, are designed and programmed to evaluate the task in front of us and compare it with our record of previous similar tasks. If our record shows that we are highly successful in doing the task in front of us, then we feel confident but if our record shows that we are not good at doing that particular task, then suddenly we become fearful.
Whenever we subconsciously compare our record for any given task, we immediately start living in the past at that moment instead of in the present. Fear will definitely keep you in the past no matter how good or bad your record is.
(4) Fear Create Monsters And Bring Them Into Reality
There are many people right now that are dying of one illness or the other simply from watching an awareness advert about that particular illness. Why is this happening? It’s because “whatever we observe, we partake in”. When people watch adverts, the majority of them are subconsciously placing themselves in those adverts.
The majority of the public imagine themselves in most adverts they watch and play one role or the other in that particular advert. There is nothing wrong with this but we all know that a lot of night-time ads are about chronic and dangerous diseases.
If you have developed the habit of imagining yourself in cars, holiday or gadgets adverts, you can’t just switch off that part of your mind when an ad for a chronic illness comes on.
Instead, what you will do or what the 99% of people do is that immediately they see an ad about a chronic or dangerous disease, they start imagining how painful and awful it will be to suffer from such illness. While they are still imagining how painful it will be to live with such illness, their minds proceed to place them in the position of the person suffering from such illness.
Immediately they consciously realise that they are imagining themselves as someone suffering from the chronic and dangerous disease on the TV, they become fearful. They start avoiding seeing that ad but instead of this helping them, it makes matters worse because one of the laws of the universe is that “whatever you resist persist”.
So instead of the avoidance of illness adverts helping them, it makes them “complete the story” in their minds. This means, their imagination will not just be about them suffering from the disease. Their imagination will include great details; such as, how they contracted the disease, how they found out about it, how they started treating it and other little details that will definitely help the illness to manifest in their lives.
The fact was that this “monster” – the illness, never existed in there life before they watched chronic illness ad. They created it first in their minds and since whatever is created in the mind must be manifested in the world of physical things; the illness they created in there minds manifested in there live.
Conclusion
If you grew up reading the bible you would have noticed the words “fear not” is repeated multiple times. In fact, it was repeated 365 times in the bible. That’s the number of days in a whole year.
The reason why the phrases “fear not” was repeated so many times is simply because of one reason; “whatever is revered or feared becomes reality” and since people never seems to fear good things, this advice became one of the most important advice you must adhere to.
Fear not because fear is not a solution or a friend. Fear is your enemy. It brings your worse nightmare into reality. Focus on a positive outcome in any given scenario and know in your heart that “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” ― William Shakespear, Hamlet.
