We all have different wants and likes, this is what makes us unique. Without our own specific preferences, we are not really a person in the real sense of it. But there is one thing we all want, and that is happiness.
Happiness is that one thing that everyone wants. In the pursuit of happiness, some people have moved thousands of miles, changed job, carry out plastic surgeries and do other things that I can’t even mention in this article.
You would think that something which everyone wants, there would have been a generalised, simplified method of attaining it by now but unfortunately, that’s not the case.
The truth is that the majority of the people you know personally and those you come across on a day to day basis are greatly unhappy about their lives – most people are wearing a mask. When you watch a video on YouTube or Facebook, you would notice that the majority of comments accompanying each video are mostly negative.
Those comments are negative because the people making the comments are usually very unhappy with there lives. They are unhappy about something and that YouTube or Facebook video is just an outlet for their unhappiness and frustration.
If you are one of those people who use Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to deal with there unhappiness and frustration, I want to tell you that leaving negative comments on social media platforms won’t change anything in your life. There is a simple way to attain happiness and it is deceptively simple.
Simple Trick For Happiness
Am sure you have heard statements such as “do whatever makes you happy“, “happiness is doing what you love” or “happiness is being paid to do what you love“. All these statements are right but we all know that for some people, “doing whatever makes you happy” means the use of drugs which will surely create greater unhappiness in the long term for the person than the current unhappiness the person might be dealing with.
Happiness is simple, in fact, the formula to be happy no matter your current situation was given by Jesus Christ in the bible and it is: “Give, and it shall be given unto you” – Luke 6:38.
What does “Give, and it shall be given unto you” has to do with you being happy you might ask? Well, my dear reader, that scripture verse is telling you that, for you to be happy, you must first make someone else happy.
Give HAPPINESS and HAPPINESS shall be given unto you. This is the simplest and most effective way to be happy always.
My aim in this particular article is to show you in the shortest amount of time how to always be happy if you want to be. Happiness is simple and easy to attain. Just make someone else happy each day and observe how you feel after that. You will be surprised to realise that throughout the whole day, you were in a happy mood.
Being happy is deceptively simple. All it requires is for you to make someone else happy first. All you have to do is to intentional put some efforts into making another human being happy each day. I am not saying being in a job you like won’t make you happy or that having friends and family won’t make you happy, what am saying is that you must give happiness before you can take or get happiness.
If you’re doing a job you love but your output is not making anyone else happy, then it’s a matter of time before that job stops making you happy because soon all your customers will suddenly due to lack of satisfaction in your output. The same goes for your friends and family members. If your presence doesn’t make your friends and family members happy, then you can be certain that they will all soon disappear from your life. They will suddenly become too busy to see you or hangout. Most of them wouldn’t even know why they are avoiding you.
If you didn’t take away anything from reading this article, take away this fact, you must give happiness in one way or the other before you can get happiness. It is a law of this universe. It can’t be broken or amended for anyone.
The topic of this article is: “how to be happy“. I see it as a question, and if you see it as a question, then the answer is “by making other people happy first.“
