The Law of Growth is omnipresence and omnipotent. It is the law responsible for all types of growth and like every law in this universe, it operates with mathematical exactitude. It does not operate on chance or probability. It works every time.
In this article, I want to show you how you can use this marvellous law to expand yourself, your wealth, happiness, influence and etc. Understanding this law in its entirety will firmly put you on the path to prosperity and complete happiness.
In bible verse quoted at the beginning of this article, the text says: “Give, and it shall be given unto you” and “For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Your understanding of these two sentences is what determines if you live a life of abundance or lack.
It Is More Blessed To Give
In the book of Acts 20:35, Apostle Paul quoted Jesus as saying “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Although the particular Bible passage in which Jesus made the comment was never recorded by any of Christ disciples, most theologians accept Paul’s quotation as true.
The subject isn’t about the authenticity of Paul’s quotation but the law which he (Paul) disclosed and the importance of it to any individual success.
On reading this text from Apostle Paul, your question should be, why is it more blessed to give than to receive? The answer to this simple but great question will open up your eyes as to how great success are attained on a continuous basis.
It is more blessed to give than to receive because when you are giving you are sowing, which will come back to you in later months/years multiplied. Giving is akin to you having just one corn and instead of just eating that corn you chose to sow all of the corn kernels. In a few months time, those corn kernels would have grown to maturity. Which means you could be harvesting hundreds of corns just from one corn. Repeat the process all over again, and before you know it, you are a corn merchant.
This is how it is in every area of life. Nature has given you health, mind and the ability to think. For you to receive whatever you want in life, you must give in one way or another. You must use your mind to solve one of your life problems. Look around you, there are hundreds of problems waiting to be solved. Give your time and mind into devising a solution to one of these problems.
Off the top of my head, I can point to the problem of plastics that are everywhere. Some people are working hard trying to clean up the plastics in our oceans. Maybe you could be the man or woman who would come up with a solution that will make the use of plastic obsolete as far packaging of household items are concerned.
When we give, we are actually giving to ourselves, although, on the surface, it might look like we are only giving to others. Everything we do through our words, thoughts and actions are all sowing and in due time, we shall harvest whatever we have sowed. If you know this and accept it as truth, then you can use it to your advantage because just like an investment in stocks or bonds, the more you invest, the better your returns. This leads us to the next section of this article.
Go All In
The second phase of Luke 6:38 says: “For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” This is straight fact right here. This bible verse is telling you the same truth a hedge fund manager would tell you. Which is that your return will be in an exact proportion to the amount you’ve invested.
If you invested £10,000 in a particular stock and in two years time you sold that stock for a profit of £2,000. This return will probably make you happy but would you still be happy if someone else who invested £5,000 along with you in the same stock and in the same period, had a return of £2,000 just like you? Of course, you won’t be happy because it’s not right. If that happens, something is definitely wrong somewhere.
This is why the scripture made the effort to point out that: “with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” This is simply telling you that your returns/harvest in life will be in an exact proportion to your investment. Your harvest will be in an exact proportion to your towing and sowing.
Knowing this truth now, isn’t it better to go all in? My advice to you is that you go all in because you’ve got nothing to lose. Whatever you are giving, you are actually only giving to yourself because it’s you and not anybody else that will reap the returns of all those givings.
Life is simple if you know the rules and one of life rules which will change your life for the better is the Law of Growth. This law has been given many names. Some people call it the Law of Sowing and Reaping, some call it the Law of Giving, but at the end of the day what matters is your understanding of this law and its proper application.
The Law of Growth is simply telling you that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35. Another way to put this is: it is a whole lot more profitable to give than to just take because when you give, you are making an investment that will yield profitable returns in due time.
How do you give then? Rich people give their money to charities to support different causes. You don’t have to give your money. You can give your time and energy by helping out at different charities.
You can help the elderly with their chores. You can give your time to some community project. All these giving will come back to you in ways you can’t even imagine.
If it is financial freedom that you want, then you MUST give your time and energy to solving a particular problem which will definitely lead to you providing valuable services or products which are needed and useful to society at large. This is the Law of Growth.
The Law of Growth is simply telling you that you cannot grow if you do not give. So, take a careful look at yourself, which part of your life are you struggling with the most?
Am sure there is an area of your life that needs some growth. Apply the lessons of this article to that area of your life. If it is a romantic relationship for example, give your time and energy to understanding yourself, what you want, what you want in a partner and how relationships are formed and maintained in a healthy way.
The same applies to every area of your life that requires growth. You must give your time and energy to that particular area of your life in order to receive the growth needed.
