What are you thinking about right now? Maybe you are thinking about a relationship that has just ended, or it could be that your mind is currently occupied with financial issues or it could be that you’re worried sick about an illness which you might or not have. No matter what you’re thinking, one thing is for sure, your thought is not standing alone on its own. Whatever thought you permit and process in your mind is connected to other similar thoughts and all of them together forms a thought current.
Thought current is like any other current in our reality. We have water currents, electric current and e.t.c. A current is something that flows. The thing is that you as an individual cannot stop thinking. Your mind must be occupied with something. Sometimes you are conscious of the thought on your mind and other times you are not. But what is certain is that you are constantly thinking of something.
Your mind is like a radio station. It is constantly broadcasting and receiving thoughts that are on the same frequency as you.
Each thought you broadcast, is broadcasted at a frequency and immediately you broadcast a thought, you are instantly linked up with other thoughts that are in the same thought frequency.
So, if you are broadcasting thoughts of diseases and illness, you are instantly being linked up with those in the same diseases and illness thought frequency as you. But on the other hand, if you are thinking about health, happiness and love, your thought will be linked up with those whose mind is broadcasting thoughts of health, happiness and love. Whichever thought your mind is broadcasting, that’s your thought current.
Importance of Being Watchful of Your Thoughts
A lot of times the thought you are entertaining in your mind didn’t originate from you. Your minds drifted into such thoughts because of your frequency. This means that vibrational frequency determines thoughts, thoughts determine actions and actions determine results. Every thought operates at a particular frequency. There is a thought frequency of wealth, health, love, happiness, gratitude, joy, abundance, hate, envy, jealousy, malice, quarrels, anger, deceitfulness, sadness and e.t.c.
All these thoughts stated above can be classified into to two main categories; which are positive and negative thoughts, and they affect the behaviour of the person that entertain and accept differently. Thoughts of happiness will have a very different effect on your mind and body compared with a thought of jealousy or envy.
When your mind is occupied with any positive thought, it is very easy for your mind to attract/receive more positive thoughts. For example, if you are broadcasting thoughts of happiness, it is very easy and common for your mind to receive thoughts of love, abundance or gratitude. In the same manner, if your mind is occupied with a negative thought, it is very easy for your mind to receive other negative thoughts. So, if you’re angry, it becomes very easy for your mind to receive thoughts of malice, hate or sadness.
Majority of the time most people are unaware of how a simple misunderstanding led to an almighty quarrel. They have conditioned themselves to believe that it’s natural for them to get angry and then proceed to hold malice against the person who made them angry. They have never awoken to the fact that their anger brought them down to a lower frequency, and because they were operating at a lower frequency, it becomes easy for their mind to receive and accept other negative thoughts currents operating at similar negative frequencies.
You need to be watchful of your thought because you don’t want to end up absorbing other peoples thoughts that are unlikely to be of any benefit to you. When something negative happens to you, quickly admit the reality of the situation but don’t let the negative situation led to more opportunities for other negative thoughts to enter your mind.
For example, if someone offended you, first admit to yourself that you are unhappy about it. Secondly, let the person that has offended you know about it and move on in the knowledge that the person’s action is a reflection on them and your reaction is a reflection on you. With this simple approach, you stop a negative thought on its track. But most people will only admit to themselves that they have been offended without letting the offender know about there offence. This will usually lead to malice and hatred towards the offender. And since they are harbouring malice and hatred in their mind, it becomes very easy for their mind to receive other negative thoughts; such as thoughts of diseases, misfortune, discords, chaos, fights and e.t.c.
Let me make this clear here and you should always have it on your mind. You should be watchful of your thoughts because “each thought you receive, entertain and accept will either lead you to more happiness and freedom or to more sadness and bondage“. There is no harmless neutral thought. This leads us to the next section of this article.
Your Thoughts Determine Your Life Experiences
Have you ever been in a situation whereby you arrive at a particular place where you have only been for the first time but you can feel instantly that one of the people you met at this place you’ve never been before dislikes you? This is your thought manifesting.
Although you might not remember entertaining such thought, I can guarantee you that such thought has crossed your mind before that particular day. It could be that you watched it on a tv, read about it or someone with similar experience relayed their hostile experience to you. What is certain is that your thought has dwelled on similar occurrence before that particular day.
Your mind is a fertile ground for planting several “thought seeds” and whichever seed you plant in your mind fertile ground, that it will germinate, grow and manifest in your life.
Every thought you hold on to for more than 60 seconds has already been planted by you in your mind fertile ground. The rate of its growth is dependent upon how you water it. And you water it and give it more nutrients by dwelling on the same or similar thoughts. But once your thought has grown to maturity, nothing, I mean absolutely nothing in our reality can stop it from manifesting in your life. This then becomes your life experiences.
Your thought also affects your perception of the things around you. Everything you do is done in the manner you see and think about it. Your action is based on your thoughts. The way a person does things is the way he or she thinks about those things. And the way you think about things is the manner in which those things will present themselves to you. Your thought dictates your perception of the things around. But it doesn’t mean your perception is right or wrong, it simply means that your reality is based on your way of thinking.

So, knowing all these, it becomes clear that whatever your reality might be, it is completely dependent on you thought. If you do not like your current life situation, then change your thought. And whenever a thought that’s contrary to what you would like in your life crosses your mind, banish it immediately by repeating the statement in the “Statement for Banishing Negative Thoughts” article.
You are a manifestation of your mind. The physical you is an outward expression of the real you – your mind. The real you is invisible and indestructible and it operates with real power. You are your thoughts. Whatever you predominately think about, that’s what you will become. For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. – Proverbs 23:7 KJV.
Thoughts flow like water in a river or stream. This is why it is called thought current. Each thought has its own current and the strength of the thought current is completely dependent on the number of people who are both receiving and broadcasting such thought.
When a group of people gather and focus their minds on one particular disease or illness, at that moment they are in the thought current of that particular disease or illness. The more they dwell on it, the more likely that the disease or illness will manifest in their lives in one way or the other.
You should be watchful at all times about your thought. Your thought determines the type of people you will attract into your life because those in the same thought current always seem to find a way to be connected in real life. If you dwell on the thought of poverty, you will attract poor people into your life but if you dwell on thoughts of wealth, you will certainly attract wealthy people into your life.
The old adage that birds of the same feather flocks together is one of the truest statement in life. Whenever you see a group of people that spend a lot of time together, it is because of (1) they are all vibrating at the same frequency and (2) they broadcast and receive similar thoughts. So, whenever someone tells you that they are not like their friends, they are simply lying to you.
I will end this article by repeating two things I have already stated earlier in this article. (1) Your thought determines your reality. Whatever thought you dwell upon, that you will become. (2) Every thought you receive, entertain and accept in your mind will either lead you to more freedom or bondage. So it falls on you to determine if the thought on your mind at each hour, minute or seconds of the day will lead you to more happiness or sadness.
